Mindfulness and Meditation for Adults
Adults are often suspicious of the word Meditation for some reason. Its better to think about your intention to reduce stress, have better focus, find the ability to stay in the present moment without worrying about what has been & anticipating what may or may not happen in the future. You are here, now! Enjoy!
I am happy to teach a small group of interested parents or grandparents, life begins now, in the present moment!
Mindfulness and Meditation for Schools
I run in school and after school classes that can be 45 - 60 minutes long depending on the schools curriculum. The classes are tailored to specific year groups and therefore are matched to the needs of those ages. I also provide taster sessions for teachers and parents. Please do call to discuss further.
Mindfulness and Meditation for Children and Young Adults
The churning emotions of adolescence, exam stress and peer pressure are clearly having a major impact on young people growing up. Mindfulness exercises allow each client the time and space to observe and consider where those anxieties arise and how to recognise patterns of behaviour that do not have to be permanent. These 1-2-1 sessions give each client the opportunity to change patterns of negative behaviour using a combination of practical exercises, breathing exercises, creative visualisations and occasionally, when agreed, emotional freedom technique. Please call, email, or text to discuss further.
Weekend workshops for parents/carers and children: We often wish that we could spend more "quality" time with our children and somehow life just gets in the way. Here is the perfect opportunity to share a morning with your loved ones & learn something new and wonderful that you can use together for years to come. Mindfulness workshops invite you to explore the basic practices of mindful breathing, meditation and activities where you can share your love for your loved ones and enjoy the present moment but a moment to be cherished. For more details about the workshops please call me.
